U M A R M U N G - von Patricia Schaefer Röder

U M A R M U N G

Ursprünglicher Gruß
zwischen zwei nahen Leuten
die es auch zeigen.

Männer und Kinder
haben die gleiche Sehnsucht
nach nem zuhause.

Ach, wie schön ist es
Familie und Freunde zu sehn
und eng zu drücken!

Reich sind die Leute
die wegen ihren Herzen
unersetzlich sind.

Millionen Seelen
wandern im Wind der Freiheit
die Wärme suchend.

Und so erträum ich
ein schnelles wiedersehen
tief in die Augen.

Nichten und Tanten
treffen sich in einem Zopf
aus Liebe gemacht.

Grade bin ich fort
und schon fehlt sie mir so sehr:
die enge Umarmung!

A B R Á Z A T E

Abrazo azul
el lazo ultraterreno
entre los dos.

Beben los hombres
el anhelo de hogar
tal como niños.

Reluce en el
abrazo de los cuerpos
la hermosa piel.

Ánimas de luz
los millones de seres
irremplazables.

Zarpan al viento
corazones libertos
laten calor.

A ti despido
ensoñando profundo
vivo tus ojos.

y brotan azucenas?

HYMN TO THE CRANIUM

Oh! Gloomy Cranium
that with your vane and empty cavity
you declaim the void
of the greatnesses of the human life.
How many times perhaps you would feel
roar within your cavern,
for ever in solitude and muteness,
the brave storms
of the tenet’s delirium, in eternal struggle
with the sarcasm of the everlasting doubt.
Perhaps you were the mystic palace
of a sublime apostle
for whom the extension of space itself
was a grim prison, oppressing jail.
But if you were the temple made by God
for the author of a regnant dogma,
why is it, that inside you
feels so narrow, the miserable worm?
Perhaps you were the byzantine throne
of the vilest despot that has ever lived,
from the many that with their clumsy and ominous rancour
have provoked the rays of History.
But if you were the bloody pedestal
of an author of chains,
why does the wind raise an hymn around you
     and sprout lilies?

Desert

¿Quién ha osado caminar por el silencio
de las dunas sempiternas
del desierto de mi alma?

Who has dared to walk through the silence
of the everlasting dunes
on the desert of my soul?

The Lonely Stations - by David Lethei

THE LONELY STATIONS

The lonely stations
are devoted women
waiting in the middle of the fields
with a done supper.
The lonely stations
that for their lovers still holds
with the same love and the patience
that water to the dry land restores.
Their elderly bodies
full with nostalgia of beautiful ages
when pleased they received
to the upcoming and always going crowds,
when they cleaned the foreheads
of the exhausted trains
and moisturized their borders
and polished their wheels.
The lonely stations
are lonely women
that remained beholding
while is all gone
that restrained their tears
to remain excels
and became bastions
of the glory of the past.
The lonely stations
those that for always have waited
await and shall wait
abandoned by the railway
with that taste on their mouths.
The lonely stations
are cracked women
torn by the sun
and by the unstoppable passing of time
silenced by the night
stared by the moon
full of spider webs, holes and memories
of pristine child smiles.
The lonely stations
neither name now they have
only past times
are their taciturn selves,
only muteness
only melancholia
even hope leaves them
neither death visits them.

Camino - por/by Sergio Guerrieri

Camino

Luego yo fui entraña y me contraía,
fui viento y ardía, fui despedido
en mi increíble nacimiento.
No intenté regresar siquiera.

posado en la razón de su alimento;
me atravesaba un ave, me atravesaba un ave.

Path

I went out wandering with no remorse
to find the remains of my birth.

I didn´t understand the dissected bowels
as carrion for birds, I didn’t ask for the randomness
of their positions, I didn’t beat up the soil
covering the recently engulfed blood.

The metaphor was a tiny being,
a language’s deformity to feed myself,
I didn’t piled up the hunt’s waste.

Then I was bowel and I shrunk,
I was wind and burned, I was released
on my unbelievable birth.
I didn’t even try to go back inside.

The bird flew over me as a man
standing for the reason of his food:
it wasn’t randomness this skin’s turmoil getting birth:
a bird crossed over me, a bird crossed over me.

dormidos, casi cerrados; moribundos, abandonados.

Hálleme desnudo refugiado en tu hálito
aura diáfana e implacable
floreciente, casi pura; penitente, oscura.

Hálleme extasiado por la hermosura
plácida comisura,
a la que confío mis silencios.

Hálleme divagando por esa boca tuya.

Hálleme pisando los valles copulares
esos cálidos océanos fragantes
pampas de muerte
febriles umbrales.

Last Goodbye

It couldn’t take the pain no more.
Drugs weren’t anymore the solution.
So for the last time, greeted the sun.

The Profile

The irony in its smile, mixed with that air of superiority, made that the psychologist gave an answer:
-          Your profile is too much higher for the vacancy.

The Question

- Mom ¿Where do the babies come from?
Well..mmm...er...-the question surprised her-.
Well, when mom and dad get together, they write a letter to the Stork madam...
-          ¡Mom! – interrupted the child-. I didn’t ask ¿How are they made?, but ¿Where do they come from?

El Fin / The End - por/by Yessenia Cáceres

__________________________________________

And this is the end...perhaps just for now, perhaps for ever, but what happened only will be known to us; my heart, yours, and Time. Perhaps we didn´t live it with the same intensity, or we didn´t feel it in the same way.

I know that I won´t be able to tell this to my children, neither will you. Perhaps someone will understand it, perhaps someone will live it too, but we won´t be there to make them do it right.

I don´t regret anything of what I´ve done. What I do regret, is of having thought that it wasn´t wrong and of not change my mind when I was supposed to. If anyone ask me why I am in this way, I´ll just answer that what I´ve lived have made me who I am, and if anyone ask me of what I´ve lived, I will tell everything, except for this; you and I will be the forbidden chapter on that book that I´ll never write...

We were never on our own, we were used to believe that we did, and we had the illusion that we would. But we never understood that being between four walls, and with no one around to listen, wasn´t the way to find freedom..
.
We were afraid, deeply afraid; of not being what Society wanted from us, what our parents wanted from us, afraid of disappoint everyone...and afraid of disappointing ourselves. Each passionate kiss was a desperate measure in order to silence that feeling of not knowing where were we neither where we were going to end.

I feel like I´m saying goodbye, but in the same time, I don´t want to leave this, and I don´t know if you don´t want to...

I hope it passes, that everything passes, that it become healthy, that we become healthy persons; perhaps not normals because that doesn´t exist, but that we be able to live...to live...that sounds so good; it seems like we wouldn´t been living lately.

Perhaps we´ll meet again in a long future; no, not here, maybe in another place, and perhaps we could relive all this with a smile in our faces, remembering this as a story or as a good memory; perhaps we live it again with a stronger passion, and with true freedom no mattering what everybody may say. Sincerely...I hope that the second option prevail.

Or perhaps we won´t see each other no more, and each one of us is going to live this story on our own, but in spite of that, I know that we´ll carry this saved into our hearts, keeping it intact, hoping to be able of enjoy it, before the mourning come...

It was nice, thank you, no one will know it...just your heart and mine, and the time we share.
